Note: Your Citrus Peels actually contains lots of phtoynutrients, like the compound called limonene which has been shown to protect against certain cancers. It usually is a taste preference for juices (I usually shave about half of my citrus fruits), as the peel will impart a bitter flavor. But for those that want an extra nutritional WOW - leave the rind on! Just be sure to WASH WELL!!
Serves: 2 servings (each serving 16-20 oz)
- 3 Ribs celery
- 3 Limes
- 1 Lemon
- 1/2 Grapefruit
- 1 Cucumber
- 1 head Romaine Lettuce
- Wash all ingredients well and put through the juicer chute.
